LAF Poetry Workshop spaces still available

BOOTHBAY — Spaces are still available for the 2012 Poetry Workshop sponsored by the Lincoln Arts Festival, to be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 8.

The workshop will be held at the Boothbay Region YMCA’S Camp Knickerbocker on Barter’s Island Road, Boothbay.

Well-known Maine poet Dawn Potter will be the leader of this year’s workshop. She is the author of several collections of poetry, including "How the Rimes Happened" (Cavankerry Press 2010) and "Boy Land & Other Poems" (Deerbrook Editions, 2004), with a third, "Same Old Story," due out from Cavankerry Press in 2014. 

The fee for the poetry workshop is $60, and does not include lunch, although dessert, coffee and tea will be provided.
